About your Counselling sessions
Benefits of counselling
Counselling has many benefits and can often lead to a significant reduction in feelings of distress. It can also assist in improving interpersonal relationships and lead to greater personal awareness and insight into your life. However, to achieve the maximum benefit of counselling, it requires the client to actively participate in the process to be successful. This means that you would be expected to do your own personal work outside of the sessions. This may include journaling your progress and challenges throughout the week as you work on a new skill so that we can talk about it in your next session.
