Initial First Session and Assessment
In our first session I will provide a 90 minute initial intake and assessment. This allows additional time to explore and discuss a healing plan, while completing the necessary paperwork. Each session after this will be for 50 minutes.
NIHB
Indigenous Services Canada provides an eligible client up to 22 hours of counselling services every 12 months at no cost to those who qualify for NIHB. (Status Card) Additional hours may be provided on a case-by-case basis in the same 12 months period if needed.
Individual/family
For Youth, Adults and Seniors who are non-indigenous, you will be billed at the standard rate for professional counselling services. It is the individual’s responsibility to consult their employee health coverage for reimbursement if you have a health plan. Payment will be due when services are rendered, and you will be given an official receipt to submit for reimbursement.
Others
Sliding scale options can be offered to those individuals who do not have extended health coverage and who are experiencing financial difficulties. Fees will be based on their circumstances and need for service.
Insurance Coverage
Please Verify your extended health coverage with your insurance provider. I will provide a receipt for you to submit for reimbursement.
